CBD helps reduce anxiety and is an anti-inflammatory

Once you look into the benefits of CBD and try it out for yourself, its sudden popularity becomes clear. Advocates of CBD have praised its positive health effects in relieving chronic pain, inflammation, insomnia, indigestion, depression and anxiety.

We’ve included some reference material at the bottom of this post.

As with most products that are coupled with a healthier lifestyle, they eventually join paths, so what better way to consume CBD than combining it with Kombucha? We're proud to say we've launched Europe's first CBD infused Kombucha, and here's why:

So, what is CBD?

In the case of our Kombucha, CBD is a naturally occurring substance found in the hemp plant, which is isolated and does not contain anytetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the substance that is known to give users a “high.”The psychoactive effects of THC are therefore, not found in CBD. This makes CBD perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy the medical and therapeutic benefits of hemp, without being affected by the effects of THC. In a recent report, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has praised the use of CBD and has recognised its health benefits for a range of chronic illnesses.

CBD is extracted from the Hemp plant

CBD activates certain serotonin receptors in our brain to encourage natural feelings of calmness and create an anti-anxiety effect. The WHO has described CBD as a cause of “reduction of muscular tension, restlessness, fatigue, problems in concentration,” therefore improving social interactions through a reduced social anxiety and depression in its users.

Similarly, CBD benefits people who suffer from inflammation and who struggle with digestive problems, such as IBS. The anti-inflammatory benefits of CBD come from the way the substance increases adenosine levels in our brain, which are associated with our blood flow, having a direct anti-inflammatory effect throughout our body. For people who suffer from digestive difficulties, fermented products and more specifically, Kombucha have been a lifesaver, so combining such a beneficial drink with a substance that has also been proven to help in that area creates a match made in heaven. The anti-inflammatory benefits of CBD don’t just end at digestive issues; the substance also reduces symptoms of chronic pain, cardiovascular diseases, Multiple Sclerosis, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease.

At SODADA, we have launched a new range of Kombucha, where infuse 10mg of full spectrum CBD into our original, delicious Kombucha recipe.
